Heat oil, put the mustard seeds. Add the vegetables, Sambar powder and asafoetida. Fry it for 2 to 3 minutes. Take the pulp out of the tamarind and add it to the vegetables. Put salt and allow it to boil for 10 - 12minutes. Grind the coconut with garlic cloves. Add the paste to the boiling mixture. Let it boil for 5 minutes. For thickening the mixture, rice flour mixed in little water can be added. Garnish with ciliantro.
