Easy and Quick Thuvar Dhal Morekozhambhu
Ingredients
Vegetables - Ladies finger, Brinjal and white pumpkin For Roasting - Red chillies - 6, Thuvar dhal 3 tsp, Fenugreek seeds(Vendhiyam) - 1/2 tsp, grated coconut half cup, Thick Buttermilk 500 ml, Salt to taste, Corriander leaves, Asafoetida powder, mustard and oil for seasoning
Method
Cut vegetables into big pieces and boil with little salt in two cups of water. Roast all the ingredients and in 2 t sp of refined oil and grind it with grated coconut to a smooth paste. Add the paste with the cooked vegetables and stir it well and keep it in samll flame for 5 minutes. Finally add buttermilk, salt, corriander leaves, asafoetida and season with mustard.
