*soak tamarind in 1.1/2 cups of water and extract strain and keep.
*heat ghee in a kadai,fry red chillies, asafoetida,dried neem flower or veppamboo with a pinch of salt,till it becomes mild black in colour.
keep aside.
*add salt to the tamarind pulp and boil it for 20 mnts.
*now add the fried veppamboo flowers.
*add curry leaves.
*now the neem flower rasam or veppamboo rasam is ready.
