Coconut milk Pulao
Ingredients
Ingredients: 2 Cups Rice; 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder; Salt to Taste, 4 – 6 Tbsps. Butter Pattai - 1 pc. Of 2” long Cloves 4-6; Elachi – 6 no's, Coconut Milk - 3 Cups, Bay Leaf-2.
Method
Method: Wash & drain Rice fry in 2 tbspns. butter & place in the Electric Cooker Bucket, to it add the spices, Coconut Milk, remaining Butter, Salt to Taste, Bay Leaves, Turmeric Powder - cover the cooker, plug it on - Leave to cook - it will automatically cut off when the Rice is done - leave to cool down for 10 mins. then put the Rice on to a place & fluff with Fork - Goes well with Ball Curry, Devil Chutney; Tongue Vindaloo; or Vegetable Kurma or Small Potatoes in Gravy You could add fried cashewnuts as garnish with 2 –3 tbspns of ghee melted & poured on top.
