Curry Leaves Powder
Ingredients
Curry Leaves - 3 Cups Blackgram dal - 1 cup Bengalgram dal - 1 cup Tamarind - Small Lemon size Red Chillies - 1 cup Gingelley seeds (Til) - 1/2 cup Salt - 1/2 Cup Asafoetida - 2tbsp Oil - 4 Tbsp
Method
Fry Dals in oil along with Tamarind and Gingelly seeds till golden brown. Fry curry leaves sepeartely , till they are roasted ( Without moisture). Roast red chilles in a dry pan. Powder all the ingredients together and mix well. After the powder is ready seive thorughly and store the fine powder in dry bottles. Shelf Life - Two Months This can be Taken with Rice and as sidedishes with Idly/ Dosas Since curry leaves are rich in Calcium, it helps in healthy maintainence of Bones and Teeth, Promotes Hair growth. A good supplemet of calcium especially for Women during Menopause
