THICK DHAL KOOTU
Ingredients
Use only Cuddaley Dhal-boil with a pinch of turmeric pwd. (do not add green chillies/garlic/tomatoes etc.,); When dhal is boiled strain away the water, mash the dhal & keep aside. Season with mustard seeds, curry leaves; dry chillies; & asafetida, salt to taste.
Method
For a variation you could try making this ‘kootu’ with Tur Dhal or Seerai Dhal
