Peppered Lamb Steak
Ingredients
1kg Trimmed topside of lamb very thinly sliced ( like paper thin )and pat dry on paper kitchen towel ; 4 table spoons of either apple cider or pure coconut vinegar ; salt to taste ; 3 tablespoons of brewed soya sauce (Kikkoman ); 5 tablespoons of freshly cracked black pepper ; 2 to 4 tablespoons of roasted plain chilli powder ;
Method
Mix the above in glass vessel, cover with cling film and refrigerate for half to one hour ; Heat up to high heat a well seasoned wok or a frying pan ; Add either pure olive oil or gingelly oil to the heated up utensil ; Throw in the peppered lamb slices and costantly toss to and fro in the hot utensil until fried as required ; Serve piping hot with steamed plain jasmine rice. As an accompaniement,serve with red onion,tomato and cucumber salad.
