1.Heat cooking oil in wok,when hot add in the star anise,cloves,cinnamon stick,cardamoms and fry till fragrant.
2.Pour in the kurma paste and fry till some yellow oil appears.
3.Add in the chicken pieces and potatoes. Keep stirring and frying for 6 to 8 minutes.
4.Pour in the water,cover the chicken and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes over medium heat.
5.Add in the evaporated milk, salt and tomatoes and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
6.Lastly add in the garnishings.taste
7.Serve with chapati or briyani rice.
