onion 1 kg , methi seeds 1/2 tsp, mustard seeds 1 tsp, salt 2 tsp, chilli powder 2 tsp, jaggery 3 tsp, tamarind size of goosberry, oil 1/2 cup.
Method
Cut onions finely. Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard and methi seeds in the oil.
Then add cut onions and fry for some time.
Add the juice of tammarind, salt, chilli powder and jaggery and fry till oil seperates. Refregirate in a clean container.
