coriander chutney
Ingredients
Coriander leaves 200gms Red chillies 4 to 5 (as per taste) Tamarind The size of half a lemon Udad dall 1 Table spoon Hing 1 pinch Jaggery To taste Salt to taste Oil 1 Table spoon
Method
Clean & chop coriander leaves and dry it. Heat the oil in a pan , add udad dall & when it turns light brown add the chillies & hing.Remove from fire & keep aside. Grind the fried udad dall,hing, red chillies,tamarind,salt,coriander leaves, jaggery to make a course chutney. This chutney goes very well with Khichidi, dosas,etc.
