Quick Tomato chutney in about 10 minutes
Ingredients
2 Medium tomatoes, 1 medium onion, 4 green chillies, 3 tea spoons cooking oil, Pinch of Asafoetida, chilli powder and salt
Method
Fry the cut onions till they are fried and add the cut tomatoes and the cut chillies and fry for 2 more minutes. Pour 1 glass of water and add chilli powder and salt to taste and let it get cooked(for about 5 minutes) add the asofoetida and curry leaves at last and the chutney is done. This would go well with idli and dosa.
