PUDHINA/CORIANDER LEAVES - 1 BUNCH URAD DAL - 1 TSPN CHANNA DAL - 2 TSPN B.ONION -2-3 TBSPN (DICED) GARLIC - 2 (CRUSHED) G.CHILLY - 1 R.CHILLY - 1 JEERA - 1 TSPN TAMARIND - 1 SMALL PIECE COCONUT - 4-5 TBSPN SEASONING --------- OIL MUSTARD URAD DAL CURRY LAEVES ASOEPHETIDA/HING
Method
TO ONE TBSPN OIL ,ADD URAD & CHANNA DAL. THEN ADD ONION , GARLIC. NEXT ADD, THE CHILLIES & FRY FOR A MINUTE OR TWO. NOW ADD PUDHINA OR CORIANDER LEAVES OR BOTH CAN BE ADDED EQUALLY. ADD TAMARIND & JEERA &FRY FOR A MINUTE OR TWO. SWITCH OFF & THEN ADD COCONUT & MIX WELL. LET THE MIXTURE COOL & THEN GRIND WITH SALT . SEASON & POUR IN THE GROUND CHUTNEY. DO NOT FRY THE GROUND CHUTNEY AGAIN. THIS IS VERY GOOD,DELICIOUS, NUTRITIOUS- FOR TIFFINS , BIRIYANI ,A PARTY RECIPE TOO.
