POTATO BHONDA
Ingredients
POTATOES-2,ONION-1,GREEN PEAS-1/4CUP,GREEN CHILLIES-2OR3, MUSTARD-1/4T.SP.,URAD DHALL-1/4T.SP.,SALT TO TASTE,(FOR PODIMAS) BESAN FLOUR-2 HANDFUL,RICE FLOUR-1HANDFUL,CHILLI POWDER-1/4T.SP.,OIL FOR DEEP FRYING.
Method
NOTE:REFER PODIMAS IN VEG.CURRIES SECTION. PREPARE POTATO PODIMAS AND MAKE IT A FINE BALL,KEEP IT ASIDE. NOW MIX BESAN,RICE FLOURS,CHILLI POWDER AND SALT WITH WATER TO GET A THICK DOUGH. HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND PUT THE POTATO BALLS IN THE DOUGH,IMMERSE FINELY AND THEN FRY DEEPLY IN THE OIL. THIS IS ANOTHER KIND OF BHONDA.THIS WOULD ALSO GO WELL WITH CHUTNEY AND SAMBAR. THIS IS EASY TO MAKE AND TASTY TOO.
