Deepavali legiam( micro wave)
Ingredients
Milagu-------1teaspoon Jeeragam 1 " Omam 1" Sukku 1" Chitharathai 1" Arisithippili1" Dania 4" Gingerjuice 6" vellam 4" Nalla ennai 4" suddha neyi 3" Manjal powder1" ( sukku and chitharathai 1 spoon each after powdered)
Method
Method Keep sukku in microwave for1/2 minit again 1/2 minit. This will bulge big and gets lighter. Do the chitharathai also in the same way. Keep milagu jeeragam,omam. arisi thippili ,dania for 20 seconds to get roasted.If need be can do for few more seconds. Grate the sukku and chitharathai and make into fine powder.Sieve to get the fine powder.All the other things must be powdered in the mixer and sieved through to get a fine powder. Add all the items and mix well.Add 20 teaspoons water and make into paste. Keep2 table spoons water and boil ,while boiling add this mixture and cook for a while. keep the vellam on the stove with little water ,when melted filter it ,again keep on the low fire, add ghee,gigerjuice, manjal powder, oil. when the syrup gets little thick add the paste , keep stirring till it leaves the sides. Before removing add all the remaining ghee and oil and pour in a clean,dry bottle. After it is completely cooled close and keep aside.Use a dry spoon to take the legiam.
