Indian Cuisine is as diverse as Indian culture itself. Each type of Indian
cuisine embodies the region it is associated with. From the pulavs/breads of
the North West region, to the coconut chutneys of the tropical South - there
is a dish and flavour for every palate.
Vegetarian cuisine is richly represented in Indian cooking - a cuisine which
is healthful and nourishing. Here are a few of our family recipes, we hope you
will enjoy them as much as we have. I am indebted to my late mother-in-law
Mrs. Rajalakshmi Santhanam, and to my late mother Mrs. Lakshmi Athinathan, who
among other things were responsible for passing to me a majority of the
following recipes.
