I remember those subtle relationships in Indumathi's "tharaiyil irangum vimanangal: Vasanthi's gulmohar marangal ( idhu varadha her novels, rombha kammiya than irukkum) Some how I did not like Sivasankari from the beginning - mental block-- Most of the time, I felt that her novels contained details about her pet dog - shyama - and the recipe she tried at her home.. Throught my reading days, I never felt comfortable with historical novels... but last time when I went to Chennai, I bought the complete set of Kalki's writings..
