None of you could refute charges brought down by Sumbramanya Swamy. If these facts are not correct then it is easy for Sonia to defend herself in the court of law. Especially her Italian passport issue is not cleared openly by her. Rahul and Priyanka can refute these charges by saying that they are not the citizens of Italy or they do not own any other passports other than Indian passport. Subramanya Swamy indeed had raised this issue during BJP rule as well. As it is evident in this posting there was tactical understanding between BJP and Congress on this issue knowing fully well that by bringing these charges against Sonia will only help her gaining popularity especially when they were facing so many other issues that time. If Sonia had become PM immediately after the assassination then all these allegations will have become true lot earlier!! Again, she did not renounce the PM position as entire Congress was pitching Sonia as PM candidate during entire election campaign with tactical approval from Sonia. It is only wild imagination to think that Sonia had sacrificed PM position. |
